OUR MISSIONS AND VALUES
Industrial Panel Solutions was established in 2015 with the intent to provide quality products and services to a wide range of industries. From OEM’s to custom applications, our mission is to design and manufacture control panels that consistently exceed expectations and are of the best quality in the industry. By working with IPS, our customers can increase productivity, maximize revenue, and eliminate high cost complications such as troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
WHO WE SERVE
At IPS we believe the best teams have the best players. That’s why we serve and partner with companies that are experts in their own industries, including electrical contractors that have the skill set to install and assist startups, integrators that want to provide the best high level automation, and OEM’s that are innovating and automating leaders.
What You Do
You design and manufacture machines, equipment, skids, and cells that are used across many industries. You may fabricate your own control panels in house or contract them out. Both of these options can come with their own difficulties of design, availability, and resources or coordination, quality, and pricing. Adherence with NFPA 79 and NEC codes may be a challenge for your process. IPS fully understands that quality and deliverability of components are most important with your tight schedules and customer expectations.
What We Do
IPS specializes in working with OEMs to support your specific needs. Whether your panels are designed in-house or by our experts, our goal is to provide you with high quality control panel manufacturing. In addition to UL certified panels, we have programs that include component and panel stocking, just-in-time delivery, custom labeling and nameplates, and our 100% energized FAT testing leading to our three-year warranty. IPS provides security and peace of mind for you and for your customers.
What You Do
Integrators specialize in bringing together the design, components, and subsystems of various processes to ensure seamless functionality. A key part of your success is ensuring that you have the highest quality equipment that has been point-to-point tested, delivered on schedule, and functions 100% correctly upon installation. This eliminates spending valuable time troubleshooting control panel issues and allows you to focus on what you do best; programming and integrating software and hardware systems.
What We Do
IPS was established to provide products and solutions for engineering and integration companies. We understand processes, controls, and forward/backward software and hardware integration. That knowledge and expertise not only shows in our design and manufacture of finished control panels, but also in our documentation, electrical schematics and after sales support. IPS is focused on supporting our customers in all aspects of the integration process.
What You Do
Whether you provide overall engineering efforts on a major capital project or simply carry out individual parts of a project or process design, you require contractors and equipment suppliers that understand your needs and expertise. You may procure equipment like control panels yourself or outsource that scope of work. In either case, the control panel is often the heart of your designs and a critical component of success.
What We Do
IPS works with you in any phase of your design process. We have a control panel design department that can review your specifications, a draft department that can provide complete drawing packages and a manufacturing team that produces the highest quality control panels in the industry.
EXPERIENCE THAT COUNTS
Our team of diversely skilled professionals continually excel every day to execute all projects. Every person on our staff is committed to providing you with the best possible customer service and the highest-quality products.
At IPS, we believe it is important for us to know who you are and how you approach your business, and we also believe it’s important for you to know who we are and how we approach ours. Below you will learn about our team.
Jesse Richardson has worked in the industrial automation and controls industries since 1999.Throughout that time, he has been part of the startup team for three successful control panel manufacturers. Starting as a fabricator, moving up to a panel designer, and finally a shop manager and business developer, there is little that he has not seen in the control panel industry.
During his career, Jesse has worked on many large-scale automation projects in seemingly every industry. An expert in Siemens and Allen-Bradley, he designed, programmed, installed, and validated PLCs and HMIs for a large distilling operation. He has also designed and implemented programs for Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) units for clients in the oil and gas industry. His extensive experience with food processing and agricultural commodities includes manufacture of panels that have been distributed worldwide.
Jesse has proven himself in terms of both his technical skills and business acumen. His past companies grew significantly in size and expanded their manufacturing capabilities under his influence.
Jesse’s broad experience designing panels, managing manufacturing processes, and implementing business strategies is the reason he is Industrial Panel Solutions’ (IPS) Director of Operations. He also directs the business development team as IPS expands its services into more markets and territories. Additionally, he applies his years of panel fabrication experience to streamline production and ensure IPS’ reliable, high-quality panels perform up to our reputation.
Mike Flohr has substantial background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. He earned his technical experience working for a family-owned business where he was responsible for repairing motors, generators, welders, charging equipment, and small engines. Mike has completed training and is certified by most major manufacturers of power tools and small engines.
At IPS, Mike started his career as a panel shop fabricator and was soon promoted to Production Supervisor. As Production Supervisor, Mike is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the in-house UL508A panel factory, as well as the leadership of the factory’s employees. He also works closely with internal and external engineering and technical stakeholders to plan, supervise, and deliver high quality products to clients based on their specifications.
Brian Hager began his career in the automation and controls industry operating CNC machines at a small-town engineering and manufacturing facility. Knowing that Brian had been to Devry for electrical engineering, he was offered a position fabricating and wiring control panels. As he gained experience he began to program the panels and machines that he was building. During that process he helped streamline manufacturing processes and techniques, ultimately leading him to move into an engineering and designing role.
Brian moved to Kansas City after accepting a controls engineering role at a plumbing supply manufacturing facility. There, he helped troubleshoot production equipment, cleaned up machine program files, integrated robotics and continued to design and build control panels for in-house manufacturing equipment.
Brian then took on the role of Motion Specialist for a Kansas City automation distribution company, encompassing a five-state region. It was during this time that Brian realized his potential in sales and business development by using his experience and knowledge to discuss, clarify and close business with clients.
Brian’s excitement and positive outlook are contagious, and his addition to our team will help drive growth, positivity and development. His knowledge and experience are huge assets that will assist both himself and our clients.
Nancy Ice has over 25 years of experience in electrical design with extensive knowledge in AutoCAD and many other design softwares. Starting her career at an Omaha, Nebraska manufacturing company specializing in metal clad switchgear, Nancy gained valuable experience and exposure to the needs and demands of the industrial control panel industry. When this local manufacturer was purchased by the conglomerate Eaton, Nancy’s exposure was broadened even more.
Seeking to expand her knowledge, Nancy changed her design focus to fire protection systems and worked as a Lead Electrical Designer for five years. Through this time, Nancy showed her ability to learn quickly and to adapt to different industries.
That same ability is shown in her rapid adaptation and learning of the industrial control panel industry. Nancy’s knowledge and learning ability are valuable to our team and our clients.
